Hi Daniele,
As per your suggestion, I have processed RS2 images (HH polarization) and got some results. I have observed subsidence over urban areas. Now I want to process same images with VV polarization to see how different would be the results. But when I tried this, slaves are not being extracted. The software shows ‘preparing extracted slaves…[Read more]

At the moment we don’t have yet a module for pixel tracking, we are still developing it.
However, the functionality is already there, and, with a bit of patience, you can already use it.
In fact, the software is storing the shifts estimated from the coregistration, and you can load them and display/output the shifts.
Some elements needed to do…[Read more] -

Can we do Amplitude tracking or Offset tracking using SARPROZ software?
-
periz replied to the topic Masking in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 8 months ago
there are many types of masks
sparse points masks:
http://sarproz.com/manual/set_mask.html
continuous masks
http://sarproz.com/manual/kml2mask.html
more complex pixel selections (“save selection” below)
http://sarproz.com/manual/xplot.html
and you can load any custom file you create in any module of the software with “choose a real file” in the…[Read more] -

1. if you process the STAR graph and you do not use the coherence as weight, there is no need to generate interferograms (the sw uses unfiltered phase)
2. if you have few images, a possibility to make the system more stable is processing a non-star graph to add redundant interferograms. if you do so, you may want to filter interferograms and use…[Read more] -

Hi Daniele,
Thanks for your reply.
How should I apply spatial filtering to interferograms? What options I should choose?
Usually I follow the below procedure:
1. Generate interferograms (flat earth phase and DEM removal, goldstein phase filtering, no unwrapping)
2. APS processing (one-star graph, amplitude stability index, estimate linear…[Read more] -

Hi Sekhar,
yes, the lines appear because the image is subdivided into patches. however, they look like lines in the picture that you attached, but in fact it’s just an optical effect showing the higher density close to patch borders. if you zoom in, you will see that they still pick up real local maxima, and pixels are not aligned, so, you do not…[Read more] -

Dear Sarproz Team,
I am processing nine RS2 images to study temporal deformation over an area. In APS module > Sparse point selection group, I have selected Amp. Stb. Index > 0.6 and plotted PSC. The figure shows some horizontal and vertical lines along which the PS density is high. I could not see any kind of such pattern in my reflectivity map…[Read more]

Hi,
I’m a user at univeristy. I came across the failure in downloading updates. I want to ask for the windows version, how to install the update software after downloading the psftp.exe ?

Hi Sekhar,
in Sarproz parameters you find both “ampl. stab. index 1-sigma/mu”=ASI and “ampl. stab mu/sigma”=SA
what you call Ampl. Dispersion is DA=sigma/mu=1/SA
ASI=1-1/SA=1-DA
since in the APS module points over the threshold are selected, then you have to use ASI > .75
otherwise, you can apply more complex conditions (>< || && on multiple…[Read more] -

I have few queries regarding PS point selection criteria in SARproZ.
1. In APS module > Sprase Point Selection Parameter, Amplitude Dispersion is termed as Amplitude Stability. Am I right?
2. How can I relate Amplitude Dispersion (mu/sigma) to Amplitude Stability Index (1-(sigma/mu)). For example, How can I select PSC with Amp. Dispersion <…[Read more] -

hi Ivana,
InSAR is by definition a differential operation, so, constant terms have no impacts.
What counts in the temperature is its variation, not its average.
Also standard deviation and variance are independent from the mean value. -

Thank you. My aCcess to matlab is now more complicated, but i will try to solve it somehow.
I think it is sometimes useful to change the master. There are two reasons why I consider it:
– the temperatures. The master temperature should also be in the middle of the temperatures measured, especially in case where ktemp is neglected (forced to…[Read more]
