Hi Antonio,
If you restart the software,
you should get a different message, did you try it?
Something else to try:
(1) open a terminal (2) type ‘hostname’ (3) ping the returned name (eg: ping mycomputername)
(4) if no packets are received, add the name returned by ‘hostname’ to the file /etc/hosts -
periz replied to the topic Support of offset-tracking in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 1 month ago
When sarproz process the coregistration,
the estimated offsets are saved in _coreg_offL and _coreg_offS files in the EXT folder.
These files could be loaded into sarproz (by selecting “choose a real file” from the menu that you can find in most modules)
And you could analyze pixel offsets.
However, at the moment these offsets contain also the…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic Reference point in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 2 months ago
InSAR is by definition relative to a reference point. So, everything is calculated by subtracting the value corresponding to the reference point.
Residual height is the height relative to a reference DEM. Height = external_DEM_height + residual_height.
The deviation of the height estimation depends on many things, as number of images and baselines…[Read more] -

You are on the mountains and you are geocoding your data, not orthorectifying it.
You should orthorectify it instead. -
periz replied to the topic GCP location error in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 2 months ago
1. check that you have a DEM correctly loaded. to check it, you can click “dem visualization” in the frame “preliminary geocoding” in “site processing”. if you get a green flat picture, probably it failed downloading SRTM data (you should have got messages about that). In such a case delete the corresponding SRTM files (SRTM directory in the…[Read more]

Hi Cecilia,
yes, on the manual you find some explanation, here in particular http://sarproz.com/manual/geocod.html
what you have written is correct if no correlation with temperature was estimated. If on the contrary you did remove a temperature-correlated trend, then you have to tick on the corresponding box to see it, otherwise it is removed…[Read more] -

Dear all,
last week we discovered a change in the policies/formats of the website from where Sarproz is downloading weather data (wunderground.com). With old software version you will not be able any more to download weather data.
Wunderground is now requiring to register on their webpage to get an API code to download weather data.We have…[Read more]

periz replied to the topic Reference point in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 2 months ago
You can choose any parameter for your reference selection: temporal or spatial coherence, amplitude stability index, reflectivity map or whatever.
Or you can even pick it up manually (ticking the corresponding box) depending on other infos/observations (e.g. you want it on the ground, in a stable area or whatever).
InSAR is a differential…[Read more] -

Dear all,
since a few days Sarproz is experiencing failures in downloading SRTM files. The issue is caused by some SSL protocol changes on the USGS site. While we work at a solution, please consider that SRTM data is currently forced to zero by the software. To overcome the problem, manually download the files from here:…[Read more] -

Did you do process the 2 clouds of points?
1- estimation of relative shifts (offsets)
2- estimation of AD pairs
here a brief description
http://sarproz.com/manual/multi_sens.html
After having estimated those 2 things, you can plot vertical and horizontal components either on AD pairs or on a grid (not on the original points)
in the future we will…[Read more] -

periz replied to the topic Reflectivity Min and Max values and units in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 3 months ago
The reflectivity map is the average amplitude of all images.
The amplitude is measured in volts.
Values there are the output of a normalization.
Usually amplitude is plotted between 0 and 3, you can change the upper value in the advanced parameters http://sarproz.com/manual/adv_param.html
The actual maximum value depends on the strongest scatterer…[Read more] -
