periz replied to the topic Slight offset after orthorectification (S1) in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
Hi Steffan,
to properly judge the geo-referencing you should observe carefully the reflectivity map (not the changes) and you should look at multiple areas. If all areas present the same coherent shift, then it is a problem that can be corrected by choosing a GCP. Check this tutorial: https://www.sarproz.com/publish/data_import_partII.pdf
If the…[Read more] -

It looks like you are missing the Matlab Signal Processing Toolbox.
You can use the compiled version instead

periz replied to the topic APS processing in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 10 months ago
At the moment no automatic import of external APS delay map is implemented.
However, you can do it in many ways if you can manipulate your data.
Inverted Residuals atmospheric delay is saved in the ATMOSPHERESGRAFO folder
they are binary files
The size is S/DSF x L/DSF (precise rounded values are in DimAtmo.mat, same folder). APS values are in…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic Differences and Correlation between Cumulative Displacement and final value. in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 10 months ago
If you use the smart option, the modeled displacement is a non-parametric estimate of the displacement. In other words, the smart option filters the displacement, and the filtered series is the result.
modeled_disp = filter ( displacement )
The cumulative displacement in Sarproz is always calculated based on the model, so
cum_disp = modeled_disp…[Read more] -

Hi Van Anh,
how to distinguish between landslides and subsidence is a question that relates to the interpretation of the results, not to the processing, so, it’s something beyond the scope of this forum.
About QPS processing, usually we consider it an advanced topic that one can tackle after having well digested more simple approaches.
Anyway,…[Read more] -

Dear all,
we were experiencing a slow page refresh rate after posting messages in the forum, and we finally found out the problem.
Unfortunately, when we found the problem, we also realized that the mail box of recent subscribers were spammed with test emails.
Please accept our apologies.
The cause for this behavior was a wrong setting for new…[Read more] -

periz replied to the topic No external Sentinel orbits in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 11 months ago
Sarproz can be used also offline with USB dongles.
Those who use it offline manage everything manually.
You can in fact import your own external DEM. Or if you want to use SRTM, you just need to download it manually and place it in an SRTM folder. https://sarproz.com/manual/choose_dem.html
The same with optical images, you can import your own…[Read more] -

When Sarproz starts,
it checks for an internet connection.
If you have a proxy and if you have to configure your browser with the proxy infos in order to connect to internet, Sarproz will open up a window where you can input the proxy infos.
If this does not happen it means you can anyway connect to internet.
At that point, some ports might be…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic Problems in starting working with Sarproz in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 11 months ago
Hi Van Anh,
there are 3 windows in your desktop:
* main
* dataset selection
* slc data processingin order to see the “dataset selection” window populated with dataset, sensor, master and so on, you have to import data into your project.
you can import data into your project through the window “slc data processing”. just start clicking buttons in…[Read more] -

– Regarding the first question/answer, is that valid also if after the Graph Ref (GRA) we recompute the atmosphere in the APS? Is that recommended (or when it is recommended)?
* if after the graph refinement you import the SPMRautosave in the APS module, you do not need to estimate parameters anymore. you have already estimated them in the g…[Read more]

– Should we keep points parameter and value exactly the same as in the previous APS (that’s what I have done?
* are you talking about the “points densification” section? no. you can choose any parameter/value. in fact, the idea here is that you can add as many points as you want. You have already run the APS module. So, you have processed con…[Read more]

in the past months we have been working on many small things and some major changes. It is not time yet to release the major changes, but it is worth to focus on the small improvements, now available in the new Sarproz version.
* VERY IMPORTANT: we have implemented some changes in the licensing system for Linux. Now you should be able…[Read more]

periz replied to the topic how to select a high quality reference point in PS processing in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years, 11 months ago
The reference point is a critical step. If the reference point is noisy, this can limit the precision of the final result. If the ref point is moving or if it is at high/low elevation, it can bias the result. If the ref point is in a remote area, errors can propagate and make the APS estimation worse. The software performs some automatic tests…[Read more]
