Dear Sarproz users,
in recent time we underwent many re-organizations, including worldwide locations, personnel, business model, servers implementation, processing core-functions.
One thing that is worth to mention here is the medium-term plan to set up a permanent SAR/InSAR training center in Italy (those interested in taking courses can start…[Read more] -

no need.

You cannot use the small area processing for such a wide area.
Small area processing is suitable for areas where you can neglect the atmospheric delay (less than 1km for C band).
If the area is bigger, results are not reliable.
You could easily see that by checking the temporal coherence.
You need to take a course on the subject

periz replied to the topic geocoding shp which is slant range in the forum Sarproz Forum 5 years, 9 months ago
Sarproz ingests SAR data, DEM data, orbital data, and outputs a wide range of results in SAR and geographic coordinates.
It is totally indepedent, so that you can start with a SAR image and get a usable result, to be displayed in any GIS environment.
Also, Sarproz can import SAR data pre-processed with other software (check the manual for…[Read more] -

This is a segmentation violation, which means, your system is not stable and it is somehow conflicting with Matlab.
Some messages related to the audio drivers might indicate that the problem is there.
For what concerns Sarproz, if the audio drivers have issues, you should solve the problem by unchecking the “play audio” box in here…[Read more] -

periz replied to the topic How can I display PS points onto regular grid in Google Earth? in the forum Sarproz Forum 5 years, 10 months ago
option nr 1: you create your custom grid at the beginning (initial mask) and you just keep it
option nr 2: to avoid possible wrong residual height estimation you force it to zero (geo localization is dependent on height)
option nr 3: you use the filter/matrix visualization feature in scatter plot and you output your result in geo coordinates

nothing is wrong. yours is the simplest and most straightforward approach for analyzing a small area.

The message is not a problem. The coherence file is created after the coherence is saved. The coherence is the output of the mutli-temporal/time series analysis.
More attention deserves the progress bar. Please check if you get other kind of messages. It could be a network problem: try for a moment to stop anti-viruses or firewalls or similar and…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic non-linear deformation question in the forum Sarproz Forum 5 years, 10 months ago
if you have a very good dataset, many images, regular time sampling, good normal baselines dispersion, stable and robust estimation, then go directly with the non-linear model.
if your dataset is not ideal, not many images, not so robust and so on, go with the linear model. then only if you notice problems, you can run a non-linear estimation,…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic non-linear deformation question in the forum Sarproz Forum 5 years, 10 months ago
1. the atmosphere here has nothing to do. if you use the smart function, the linear phase won’t be removed. However, you still have the option to remove it, by choosing “read” on the corresponding line. Clearly, to read it from the disk, you must have previously processed and saved it.
2. if the non-linear model is obtained with a low pass filter,…[Read more] -

Each situation is specific, depending on the area, the data, the objective of the analysis.
I am not going to comment on your case, which would require analyzing many things.
A simple general statement: this website contains a decent amount of information about the QPS approach.
I am reporting here a single link, but there are many more:…[Read more] -

You can plot the estimated APS from the APS module https://sarproz.com/manual/elabora_atmo.html
you can also plot the APS by selecting “choose a real file” in the “plot paramters” module and then browsing to the APS folder https://sarproz.com/manual/plot_par.html
You can also plot an interferogram by removing the estimated APS in the “Single…[Read more] -
