  • Dear all ,

Since we have S1A and S1B over our heads every 6 days Interferometry has become an easy way to monitor the earth .

However, say you want to perform a Multi-temporal InSAR Procedure on an unknown area, just to check if something is happening, with no reference data to support you, or previous knowledge of the deformation pattern. How…[Read more]

    CSV file fields:

ID – point reference id (sequential)
LAT, LON – latitude and longitude
SVET, LVET – sample and line, pixel SAR coordinates
HEIGHT – relative to sea level (m)
HEIGHT WRT DEM – relative to the external DEM (m)
SIGMA HEIGHT – height estimation standard deviation
VEL – deformation velocity in mm/year
SIGMA VEL – velocity standard de…[Read more]

  • hi,
using sentinel 1 i got time series as def-trend.csv file. in that file there were some terms like sigma vel, sigma height, height wrt dem, can i get any tutorial or glossary pdf, which elaborate what represent those terms.

    Dear all,
we post here some news about recent updates.

    1. Wunderground has changed policies and it is not offering historical weather data as before anymore. We have implemented new functions to download data from darksky.net. Consider anyway that temporal and spatial coverage is not as before. Also the number of details can now be retrieved is…[Read more]

Thank you for your rapid answer!

  • periz replied to the topic Unwrapping method in the forum Sarproz Forum 6 years ago

    * standard: usual standard unwrapping method, pixel by pixel, it suffers the usual drawbacks of unwrapping in presence of noise. If you mask an interferogram and you have disconnected areas, it’s not going to connect them.
    * sparse LS: it uses sparse points and Least Squares to connect unconnected areas and to solve the problem in presence of…[Read more]

    Hi,
I’d like to ask one question about unwrapping method, as it seems there’s no detailed description in the manual.

What the 3 kinds of unwrapping method “standard”,”standard LS” and “standard LS LP” mean?

And how could I choose from them? do they have different cases in which behaves best?

    Best regards,
    Zoe

    Hi,

it works after I delete the imgs in dataset.txt.

    Thank you so much !

    Best regards,
    Zoe

  • Thank you very much !

  • With respect to question 3, the “previous points” you pointed to are points selected by e.g. Amplitude dispersion index in APS?

the GAR works with a graph previously processed by the APS. so “previous points” are the points that you import in GAR from the APS module

The points selected with star graph are PS points, and points selecte…

    Hi Zoe,
theoretically, it should work. However, it’s not 100% tested, you might get some problems. If this happens, there is no need to redo all the job. You can just remove the images you want to discard from the dataset.txt file. Then it will work

  • Thank you for your kind reply.

With respect to question 3, the “previous points” you pointed to are points selected by e.g. Amplitude dispersion index in APS?

Also, I have the confusion that, since QPS make use of DS points, shall I comprehend like this: The points selected with star graph are PS points, and points selected by other kind of…[Read more]

    Hello,

I have a question about change images graph. After I coregistered my stack , I want to only use connections of which the baseline are smaller than 600m. Just as the attached png shows. Therefore some imgs are not connected in the graph.

I’d like to ask can I continue with APS and MISP? will the following steps only process the connections…[Read more]

  • 1. Does GAR always behave better than MISP? And do you recommend to use GAR in most cases?

the standard way APS+MISP is widely used and very robust. when APS+MISP is successful, you don’t need anything else. However, there are cases where it fails. In those cases, GAR can help

2.You mentioned GAR could detect strong movements which exceeds…

  • Hi,

There’s simple approach for LOS decomposition published here (see Appendix):

  • Hi all,
I don’t know if there is a QGIS tool to compute the up-down and E/W component, let me know if someone knows.
Anyway, it is possible to follow this procedure: 1) starting from geocoded results, resample the measurement points (MPs) using the same grid for both ascending and descending; 2) for each cell, separately for asc and desc, c…[Read more]

  • At the moment you can project the velocities using the Multi-Sensor module
Here a bit of description https://sarproz.com/manual/multi_sens.html
In the next future we will implement also the projected time series export

  • Hello Dear All,
I have the same question as mentioned by @adugna. IS there any way to analyze the Sentinel-1 data in the east-west direction in Sarproz. If there is, could you share documentation about that. Thanks
