DSF is DownSamplingFactor
Because APS is low frequency signal then the APS results will be multilooked in that factor -

Hi,
I have some doubts about the stratification procedure for the APS estimation. More specifically, what is the meaning of MaxR and DSF. How SARPROZ estimates the vertical variation of the APS delay?
Thank you

Hi,
1. the so-called PS approach is based on the following concept:
A. star-images graph (single master).
B. no spatial filter (full resolution images, no need to generate interferograms).
C. no weights (the phase of each image weighs the same).
In such context, in Sarproz you do not need to generate interferograms. follow the tutorials online to…[Read more] -

Hello everyone!
What is the correct way to use Anderson-Darling Adaptive filter on the PSInSAR chain?
Is the following process chain correct:
1) Choosing AD statistical test in the Multi-Temporal Adaptive Mask.
2) Setting MT adapt. on the InSAR parameters.
3) Running Interferograms Processing. Sign convention in this step is opposite to SPP,…[Read more] -

1. the coherence trend in time becomes visible when you plot the coherence as a function of time. this plot is generated when you display the final test, after APS estimation and removal. the first plot that you show is a histogram, there is no time variable there
2. the histogram you show is not bad. it shows 2 peaks: signal and noise. now you…[Read more] -

Hello
I have a question about the output of KMZ. I work with 52 sentinel-1 images between 2017-2018. After APS estimation, in time series modules, I have used the sparse TS geocoding part to export the def trends of PSs to KMZ. But, the export of KMZ for each ps is between 2099-2599. I have tested the procedures several times, but I can not find…[Read more]

By the way, I also want to ask under these situation, how do we choose Non-Linear Weighting parameters. I usually use the default parameters(0.71 0.84 0.97).

Hi everyone,
I still have a question about APS processing. This time I use TSX(2013-2015, 32 images). I remember that: ‘the value of the coherence in the temporal plot is useful only to look at the trend in time, to check whether there are some left signals that were not well modeled.’ I think this time should be this situation. So how should I…[Read more] -

Thanks for the update. I used to have lots of problem with older version while I switched to Matlab 2019 or newer versions. But the new version, so far was awsome.

periz replied to the topic Non-linear weighting meaning in APS processing panel in the forum Sarproz Forum 3 years, 3 months ago
Hi,
we did not publish anything on this topic. However, the concept is simple: is e.g. 0.7 coherence high or low? it depends! It depends on how many images are in your dataset, on the baseline distributions, it depends on the processing options you have chosen. So, firstly Sarproz runs some simulations to find reference numbers (m the minimum…[Read more] -

Hi everyone,
I need some clarification on the non-linear weighting m, M and P in APS processing panel (see the attached image). Specifically, how they are implemented in the APS estimation and what is their mathematical meaning?
Can you indicate me some accademic reference?
thank u!

hello, I After Downloading Precise orbits from http://step.esa.int/auxdata/orbits/Sentinel-1/ and placed in ORBITS/S1A(S1B)/yyyy/mm/aux_poeorb(aux_resorb)/*.EOF. aux_poeorb I returned to the SLC data import process. SARPROZ is able to read precise orbits that I downloaded and placed but after that i get a error Please help me with the issue.

Hello, I have a problem, software don’t download the precise orbit files and because I’m in Iran, (https://qc.sentinel1.eo.esa.int/ ) is filtered so I can not manually download the files.
can anyone help me, please. -
