I have one probably trivial question, when we export E-W cumulative displacement map in Multi-Sensor map, negative values stands for moving toward east or toward west? I suppose that positive values should be east and negative to the west, but just to clarify. Also, what are the conditions to use sparse export in same module? When I try to use it – literary nothing happens (Command status windows doesn’t show anything) while extended export works like a charm . Thanks in advance for answer.

Thank you prof. Perissin, for clarification, now everything is clear to me.
The reason why I have date_1 in table is because I have loaded csv into QGIS and plotted it. Since in GIS same column name cannot exist twice, suffix _1 was added to second (fitted) value automatically by QGIS. In original .csv file everything is fine and without _1 at the end. In original file there is also explanation line, but it had to be trimmed before loading data in GIS. My “mistake” …

          Hello prof. Perissin,

When I export processed data to CSV from time series module, (e.g. cumulative displacement), I can see that there are actually two dates and two values for the same point (latter is with _1 suffix). I suppose that those are components of cum. displacement, but can you please answer me which value stands for what (date & date_1)?

          Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will try out them.

are you processing the full frame? if not, do it.

I have tried both options, full frame (max extent) and smaller area.

but the question is: what are you using these data for? for sure, no interferometry will be possible

Actually, I was trying to recreate steps from Yuxiao tutorial (Earthquake), since one image is before (cca two months) and another image is after ten days of the strong and shallow earthquake (M>5.4, depth 10 km, Int. VII-VIII) of epicenter area that is captured on images.

But I already supposed that if I cannot co-register them easily, then I probably could not to any other processing, so now I just wanted to co-register them using different parameters as practice. I suppose that coherence is low due to season change from late summer to mid-autumn and significant changes of vegetational cover between them, but I didn’t have any other pair to download to be so close by capture time and before/after of earthquake event.

              Hello everyone,

I am trying to follow Yuxiao SAR intereferometry tutorial with two ERS 2 images. I have downloaded 2 time close images (11.2010 and 09.2010). Loading images is fine, I have downloaded orbits manually and selected common area for extraction.

But when I come to co-registration, it always fails and button become yellow. I have read other similar posts in forum, and I have tried all possible combinations (cross-correlation, search window etc) but without success. It is always saying that I do not have enough cull points.

If I visually compare both extracted images, I can see that they are similar but with significant difference. Can someone tells me which parameters for co-registration I should use for such strong difference, and of course is it possible to do it with such data set. Even if I download all other available images from same mission and paths (+- one year), they still have strong difference between them.

Thank you for any advice or suggestion

              Uroš

This problem is not present anymore with upload version from 31-May, I have successfully uploaded version by manage version module.
                Thanks anyway…

                  Hi,

I have problem updating to the newest version of SarProz (29. May),
whenever I try to update it via Manage Vesrsion model, I alwasy get the same error
                  “Unable to write file “C:\SarProZ\archive\tmp\main.exe”.
The entry may be password-protected or encrypted.”

I always start SarProz with Run As Administrator. But, since today I have noticed
that SarProz folder is ReadOnly and I am not able to change that!

Until now, every update has worked fine on same machine. Any help?

                    Dear prof. Perissin,

Thank you for your answer and willingness to help me.
Answer to your questions are following:
                    1. I have 47 images, Sentinel 1A sensor, IW Beam mode, subswath 2, descending aq. mode
                    2. Temporal and spatial distribution you can see on attached images and dataset plots & graphs that I believe can be useful to you
                    3. I am also providing you reflectivity map and amplitude stability index plot from my dataset as attachments

If you need more info for my data-set, please let me know.

Looking forward for you precious help.

                      Hello,

I have downloaded the newest version of Sarproz, and I am working on 48 images of Sentinel 1a data.
Frist, I would like to say that in previous version of SarPROZ I didn’t have this issue and everything worked perfectly (same datasets).

During Slaves extraction, I receive this error “Image N does not cover your AOI! Check footprints of N image and your master area. Of course, I have checked it before, so look at the screenshots below. Sarproz in that case stop extracting slave images and button become yellow. So, after that I repeat the Sl. extraction, Sarproz extract more previously non-extracted images, and than report again same error but now for another image, which is actually around AOI. After it, I do Sl. Extraction several times, and than I see that Sarproz is looking to extract Slave from a different look and after a while all images are extracted and button become green!

But, when I try to plot them, everything is black! Even those images who were successfully extracted in the first place.
Herein, again I would like to write again that same set was working on previous versions without any trouble.

Any hint, help, am I making mistake somewhere or?… I cannot proceed to congregation with such results of sl. extraction.
(I am using compiled version from 17.04.2018.)

                      with regards

                        Dear Yuxiao,

It seems that you were right about blocked FTP. After yesterday proxy settings and updating to the newest version, on University computer, after Set orbits command, i receive following error:

Cannot Connect to FTP site for S1 External Orbits.
The server might be down! Please contact qyuxiao@

Yesterday there was different error (WARNING: Sentinel Built-in Orbit is used for 2017/06/15. However, Restitute or Precise Orbit is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!! Are you connected to internet? Is your FTP connection protocol blocked?)

So, are there any parameters for FTP server that maybe I should give to our Computer department so they could unblock it for my IP address? Of course, at the end there is always option to manually download the orbits, but it would be helpful to fix this on my campus computer.

If I download orbit manually for e.g. date 2017/06/15 should I download exact orbit for that date that is offered (S1A_OPER_AUX_POEORB_OPOD_20170617T121726_V20170527T225942_20170529T005942.EOF) and repeat the same for all images?

SRTM download seems to work, since i got following SRTM\N44E021.hgt correctly downloaded

                        Thank you for answers!

                          Dear mr. Periz,

Until now, I have changed proxy using your trick, but that have changed the license.key so you have to issue me new one.
After that, I have started SarPROZ again, but I still have troubles with connection to internet and orbits download. So issue is still opened. On University I will have to download everything manually including DEM.

Thanks for efforts, If you have any other solution, I will be glad to implement it, since I think that using automatic download is very useful.

                          U.Đ.

                            Dear mr. Periz,

Thank you for fast answer. Before my first post, I have read the topic that you have sent me, I am aware of the possibility that I could download the orbits manually, but if I dont fix this, I could later have problems with external DEM, right? And with all other options that request connection (google image for plotting, site view etc).

We use proxy, i have checked browser, and everything is set, but there wasn’t SarPROZ popup that would ask me to fill proxy address and port.

                              Hi everyone,

Generally, I have problem with internet connection, my computer is on University network,
so every time when I start SarPROZ, I have error message in log

Configuration check… having some troubles in connecting to internet, going on anyway
…, but email after license expiration is always sent without problem

Now, when I want to read Content and to load Precise orbits, i receive following error

WARNING: Sentinel Built-in Orbit is used for YYYY/MM/DD. However, Restitute or Precise Orbit is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Are you connected to internet? Is your FTP connection protocol blocked?

I have ESET endpoint Security, and I have disabled Firewall.

Are there any general settings for internet connection, I think that we use proxy on Univeristy campus, so maybe this could be a problem?

Btw, great work mr Periz, and thank you for your effort and sharing the knowledge!
