  • Dear Sir/Madam,

Yes, i saw that we need to create two directories for two different sensors. Please check the attached for error message. please guide me to convert the .N1 data to IMS or APS.

  • Hi,

Sorry that I missed a detail in your attached picture.

I see that you’re using two sensors.

If you want to do this, did you follow this instructions?

“The software has also the possibility of processing two sensors together (as ERS and Envisat. See References).
To do this, you need to create another folder within the DataSet directory.…[Read more]

  • Dear Yuxiao, The name of the asar file i am trying to import is “ASA_IMS_1PNUPA20100621_045425_000000162090_00291_43431_6800”.
Can you please suggest me that, is there any way to convert this file to IMS or APS?

  • It simply means your data is not supported, it is not IMS or APS data

Look into the name of your N1 data, and you will know what it is

or you can post the name here so we can know what type it is

  • DEAR SIR, I AM TRYING TO IMPORT THE SLC DATA OF ENVISAT ASAR OBTAINED IN .N1 FORMAT. BUT I AM GETTING THE ERROR AS “ERROR IN ASAR_IAS_META<>: ONLY SUPPORT ASAR IMS OR APS DATA!”. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO SORTOUT THIS PROBLEM.

  • The software has some default parameters for coregistration.
If the coregistration fails at the first step, one has to plot the images to check why it failed.
Then, depending on the reason, you can change the coregistration parameters.

In your case, the two images look similar and have corresponding features that can be used for coregistering…[Read more]

  • Dear Daniele,

I started to process 2 ALOS data, but after coregistration step i get this error:

Error in cull_points(): fewer than minimum points, only 17 left!
WARNING!!! coregistration of image 20101212 failed!!!!

And then i try to start again (re-run the tool, using SLC data module), “get contents”, check “update”, set orbits, then go to…[Read more]

  • a. before exporting data, I suggest you to use the “visualization tools” to explore the results. In particular, histograms and scatter plots are very useful tools. In the scatter plots, you can analyze the correlation between different parameters, you can plot them in 2D/3D in SAR coordinates or geographic coordinates, you can place many…[Read more]

  • Hi,Professor Daniele

When I finished the APS and SPP module operations, the result obtained in “Sparse geocoding” module are lots of points containing deformation information, including velocity, cumulative displacement ,etc. I’m not sure whether the velocity values and cumulative displacement values are absolute values or relative values with…[Read more]

  • While waiting for more documentation to come,
I open a new topic on this matter for the newcomers.
In Sarproz, Persistent Scatterers interferometry is applied to un-filtered full-resolution data.
This means that you do not need to generate interferograms if you want to process Persistent Scatterers.
It is suggested to process interferograms if…[Read more]

  • Hi Fatma,
I moved your post to a new topic, because it’s dealing with an important matter.
Sarproz has been designed to recover from almost any situation.
You should NEVER need to start processing things over again.
In particular, for interferogram processing, in InSAR Params (section 1.4.3.1. of the manual) you can tick the “update”
    option and…[Read more]

  • Hi Daniele,

Thank you for your explanations, i considere. And also i am continuing to process, but i have new problem.
While i am processing “interferogram processing” step, unfortunately my battery finished and process failed (it is about %43 finished).
Can i continue or change something for repair this step?

    Thank you again,

    Bests

    Hi Qingli.

    APS processing module options:
    – I.P. stays for Inverted Parameters
    – I.R. Inverted Residuals
    – Tri. I.R. Triangular Inverted Residuals
Generally, you should use the I.R. option. If the APS looks ok and the test shows a homogeneous high coherence in your analyzed area, then you can proceed further and be assured that everything is…[Read more]

    Dear dan,
    Thanks for the excellent software.
The new version for SARPROZ is much more convenient than the previous one.
however, i have some quesitons about the processing.
    1. in APS options group under APS processing, there are several options for it, including I.P., I.R., Tri.I.R. and stratif.
For APS processing, is there any basic idea to…[Read more]

  • Hi Fatma,

there are many messages in your log:
    a. failed to connect to askgeo.com! This means that weather data have not been downloaded. You can do it manually later (from the dataset selection window). By the way, Yuxiao just updated this code, it will be more efficient in a future Sarproz release.
    b. WARNING probably the shift is too large.…[Read more]

  • Hi Dear Daniele and all,

I am new at SarProz processing. Now i just finished the Co-registration step, but unfortunately in the last minutes Internet connection was failed and i get this message on terminal:

  • Dear Daniele,
Thank you for your reply. Yeah things are very clear now. I shall redo according to your suggestions and will post the results again to the forum.
I got the jpg file (sent by you) as the attachment. I shall also try to upload the results once I finished the work.

    Thanks & Regards,

  • Hi Shweta.
Firstly, apologies to the forum members for spamming their email folders.
Let’s see if the jpg I am attaching is going to work.

    About your questions:
    a. if you get errors, you have to send me the lasterror.mat and the log file. Anyway, here the last version of pcodes (which may have solved your matter): http://we.tl/bw8etoJaqY
