Hi Matus,
thanks for the case, we are now including the management of INVALID samples.
In your particular case it may turn out that the adjacent track will better cover the AOI (it’s close to the border).About the adaptive mask, KS is Kolmogorov Smirnov and DS is Anderson Darling (it should be AD). The connectivity is not used right now, we’ll…[Read more]

if Matlab says it’s busy, that’s not enough to understand if it is calculating things or if it’s waiting for something.
You have to use the task manager in windows to see if there are 4 Matlab parallel processes at full work. Otherwise top in Linux. -

Dear all,
during this summer we worked at two new important updates.
The first one is Sentinel TOPS. Yuxiao developed the code for reading it, stitching bursts together, coregistering and resampling.
A beta version is now included in the pcodes, we’ll soon add it also in the compiled code.
The module works now on single subswaths (one has to…[Read more] -

how many PSC/Connections are you processing? Also, what is the size of your dataset (samples and lines)? is your data on a local or external disk?

periz replied to the topic Problems in the APS processing in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 6 months ago
the parallel processing waitbar requires a network protocol to exchange infos between workers
probably this communication was lost in your system and the waitbar got stuck, blocking the processing.
you can check it if the waitbar does not move and there is no matlab instance keeping the CPU busy.
In such a case it should be enough to restart…[Read more] -

in the advanced parameters you can change the size of the maximum portion of data to process. lowering that number will limit the amount of processed data.
however, in your case you have more than enough memory. I suppose you have an outdated version with a bug.
do you have the manage version module to download a new one? -
periz replied to the topic ERS-2 gyroscope failure in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 6 months ago
you mean you cannot download the precise orbits?
if this is the problem and if you have to do it manually, check the last posts in this topic, to see where to place the files manually downloaded
http://www.sarproz.com/groups/sarproz-group/forum/topic/importing-the-envisat-asar-data/if the precise orbits are totally missing, then you can use the…[Read more]

you need a good amount of patience and experience to become able to play correctly with the parameters and to be able to judge what is wrong in the results.
I do not know the details of your dataset and of the area you are processing, so, I cannot give precise suggestions.
Also, which images graph did you use?
Anyway,
a. why are you setting DL=30.…[Read more] -

it looks like a memory problem, something that we never saw at this step. how much RAM does your system have?

Before attaching MAT and LOG files, please zip them first.
If the DEM is not well aligned, using the coregistration refinement will mess up your data.
Since you could not choose a GCP because you are using Matlab 2014b, highly probably your DEM is not well aligned.
Generally speaking, the coregistration refinement is needed only in particular…[Read more] -

As you can see here http://www.sarproz.com/pcodes-instructions/
Matlab 2014b and later are not yet supported and the reason is exactly a big change that Mathworks implemented in the graphic management. -
periz replied to the topic Importing user defined DEM in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 6 months ago
hi Matus,
the DEM you are showing is clearly smaller than the area you are analyzing.
this is not a good situation, since you are analyzing points where the DEM is not defined.
Which DEM value do you want to assign to the points where the DEM is not defined?
Think about it and solve it using an external tool to manipulate your DEM.
Or otherwise…[Read more] -

if you have problem with the data cursor tool, it’s a matlab problem.
which version of matlab do you have? which operating system? -
periz replied to the topic TSX Stripmap data in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 6 months ago
Sarproz ingests SLC (Single Look Complex) data.
You should check the TSX data sheet.
I am afraid you are ordering the wrong product (multi-looked) -
periz replied to the topic some questions about SPP in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 6 months ago
Hi cnuhyl,
the infos you are providing are too few to understand your case.
First of all, in the PSC selection there is also a sparsing operation applied (points are made sparser according to the DS and DL values). You should check it.
Secondly, I am wondering whether your overwrote the coherence file.
To understand better, I suggest you load the…[Read more] -

Hi Matus,
if you are running 2 instances of Matlab together, one instance may have opened a pool of workers exhausting your resources.
So, if the second instance opens a spmd process, it will return an error because no resources are available.
You can solve this issue by halving the number of workers for both instances.
Say that you have totally…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic MST in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 7 months ago
If you are processing PS-like targets, use the star graph.
If you are dealing with distributed targets, it’s better to use a multi-master graph.
The MST is theoretically interesting, but practically it’s better to use more connections to stabilize the inversion.
If you use the (spatial) coherence as weight, it’s strongly suggested to use a…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic velocity standard deviations in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 7 months ago
Hi Ivana
at this moment this calculation is not published.
The std dev in the paper mentioned by you is a statistical quantity.
The one listed in the sarproz output is a value calculated for that single time series.
The point is: the solution of the estimation is found as the peak of the periodogram.
How sharp is the peak? If the movement is…[Read more] -
periz replied to the topic velocity standard deviations in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 7 months ago
Hi Ivana,
some comments:
a. the standard deviation of the velocity is a measure of the peak width of the periodogram. It’s not a global parameter as the temporal coherence, it’s local (giving a view around the estimated parameter).
b. if it would simply be correlated to the coherence, it would not be useful. By already having the coherence, you…[Read more] - Load More
