  • Hi Sekhar,
in Sarproz parameters you find both “ampl. stab. index 1-sigma/mu”=ASI and “ampl. stab mu/sigma”=SA
what you call Ampl. Dispersion is DA=sigma/mu=1/SA
    ASI=1-1/SA=1-DA
since in the APS module points over the threshold are selected, then you have to use ASI > .75
otherwise, you can apply more complex conditions (>< || && on multiple…[Read more]

  • hi Ivana,
InSAR is by definition a differential operation, so, constant terms have no impacts.
What counts in the temperature is its variation, not its average.
Also standard deviation and variance are independent from the mean value.

  • Hi Ivana,
baselines are saved in the DataSet.txt file. However, it’s just an indicative number, since the baselines changes within the analyzed area. In the processing, such value is calculated from the orbital information.
If you use Matlab you can also load the baselines values using the command “fast”. They are stored together with other infos…[Read more]

  • Dear all,
we just released a new update.
The main changes relate again to the coregistration process, that underwent a major revision. Several new options are now available, including an improved use of topography, a new independent tiled algorithm (for processing images piece by piece, useful in case of images with variable antenna steering),…[Read more]

  • Hi Matus,
try first the code I passed you by email, we’ll upload it after a few more tests
    thanks

  • Hi Mahtab,
write an email to me, I will pass you a piece of code which may solve this issue, we need some tests before uploading the complete new version.
    thanks

If you check your failing SRTM file,
it should be very small, you can open it with a text editor, you will see it is actually an html file, not a zip one
delete it and all similar files, that will solve the problem (the software will download them automatically when needed)
if you are not sure about which file is good, which one is not, delete all…[Read more]

  • Hi Jaroslav,
first of all, take this as a temporary message. We are working at general solutions for avoiding these problems.
Secondly, when you get such messages, the first thing you should do is checking if this has an impact on the phase.
The quickest solution is temporarily discarding images that generate this problem.
    Otherwise, the problem…[Read more]

  • Please update your code with the lastest version via the “manage version” module, that you find in the “dataset selection” window. this is a bug that we already fixed.

  • Dear all,

in the past months we have been busy on many developments. Here a brief review of them.

    1. The coregistration process has undergone many modifications. Some operations have been speeded up, some new options are available in the coregistration parameters. Data have been re-organized in subfolders in the EXT directory.
    But most…[Read more]

  • Hi Prashant,
Yuxiao has been working at the weather data module for the past 2 weeks, rewriting the code and making it stable against changes on the online weather database (the error is caused by some data returned in an unusual format). We will release a new version very soon. Please be patient a bit more.

  • Hi Prashant,
such an error -as you point out- is affecting a Java command. After a quick search online I found the following:

“Probably for some reason the connection dropped. There are a number of different reasons that can happen, including

    system overheating
driver problems with your ethernet card
    hardware problems with your…[Read more]

  • Hi Jaroslav,
I assume you are talking about azimuth shifts. That is common for Sentinel and it’s not a problem.
You should not have any coregistration issues.
Moreover, you can put consecutive images in the SLC folder: Yuxiao developed a simple algorithm to merge them, and you can treat them as a whole image.

  • There are many things you don’t say,
as how you calculated those parameters, what does your dataset look like (in terms of number of images, distribution of acquisition dates/baselines/doppler). then we should check the original parameters as reflectivity, ampl stab ind, spat coher and so on.
anyway, as a general answer, if the spatial coherence…[Read more]

  • Hi Mahtab,
the life time is calculated from amplitude time series of good scatterers using this module http://sarproz.com/manual/amp_series_proc.html. The analysis is carried out on the amplitude series of single pixels.
The easiest way is to use the on-off model, then Tin and Tfin (birth and death dates) of targets will be estimated, their…[Read more]

  • Hi Prashant,
    we are working on it.
    We’ll send an update soon
