i cannot see what u did from the screenshots…
if, as u say, nothing is ticked, u should get only residues…
next question: are u using the star graph or something else?

  • ivca-cz replied to the topic residue values in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 2 months ago

I do not understand. I computed it in the small area processing, as in the screenshot.

Nothing is ticked in the “data series” line. Do I understand well, that if I do not tick anything, I get only the residues (if I tick temp, the temperature effect is added etc.), and the same applies to the CSV export?

we’d need to know how u computed the time series…
if u estimated and included the thermal expansion, then it’s reasonable…

I am sending matlab-parsed histograms of residues for few dates (each date separately). Often, the higher residues correspond to high values of ktemp (I want to know if the possible correlation is real or is caused by unwrapping). Linear deformation trend was not estimated.

Computed approx. a month ago, in an older version (after Ktemp was added…[Read more]

can you send us some grab-screens?
in particular, about the time series you mention and about the options you used for processing
please include also the graph you used for the analysis

  • Hello,

if I understand it well and no unwrapping is performed (in small area processing), how is it possible that residue values reach up to plus minus 8? Especially for some dates – but generally, there are very few dates for which all residues are smaller than pi. I did not tick anything (model, lin trend etc.) before the export. How were the…[Read more]

  • There is nothing called “SBAS” in my software
But you have many ways to process your data and in some ways do something similar to SBAS.
E.g. select an images graph (i.e. a set of interferograms) that best suites your case
    – filter and unwrap interferograms
    – apply an unwrapped (UW) time series estimation
You can either follow the classic steps of…[Read more]

  • Hi, Professor,

I saw tutorials about PS-InSAR,few information about SBAS-InSAR. Now I have few scenes images,so I want to process SBAS,could you please tell us differences about process steps between PS and SBAS in this software?

  • I don’t understand how to process specifically, but I found Matlab gave me a message”center latitude and longitude from MASTER SLC data differ from center of calculated footprint”. Is this message important for this problem?

  • periz replied to the topic GCP location error in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 2 months ago

A possible explanation is a wrong timing of the image relative to the orbital data.
Suggestion: plot the footprints of the full-frame, extract the full-frame Master and plot it.
Based on the 2 pictures, you can make a rough estimation of the shift between the real geographic location of the image and the apparent one retrieved from the orbits.
    You…[Read more]

  • I’m sorry for that the two pictures couldn’t be uploaded successfully. These two ones are new.

  • The first picture is SAR image, the other one is kml format master area. It’s obvious to find that area on the two pictures don’t match.

  • periz replied to the topic GCP location error in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 2 months ago

Can you please grab a few screenshots to show us your case?

  • The version of software is May 6.

I delete the old folders and import the data again.I set the master area again in “longitude” and “latitude” ,but the error was still here. The center of master area was still the center of the scene.By the way, the master area of kml format was right, but the SAR format image was not matched with the kml file.

  • periz replied to the topic GCP location error in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 2 months ago

if you start the SLC processing over again,
the Master and all previously generated files are overwritten.
Also, the Master area is set as default: center in the middle of the scene.
So, you have to set the Master area again. By the way, these operations were slightly improved recently: download the last version (or check in the updates history…[Read more]

  • Thanks for your reply.

I went back and extract the master area again, but I found the SAR image of extracted master area isn’t the area that I want. The centre of wrong area isn’t what I input in “latitude” and “longtitude”, but is the centre of one complete image. And I set the “latitude” and “longitude”, but the “samples” and “lines” doesn’t change.

  • first very important comment
why are you using the MST?
I’d suggest you to work with the Star Graph.
In fact, you are analyzing a structure, not distributed targets.
I also suggest you not to use weights.
Try this, and then let me know.
As for the range of parameters is concerned, at the beginning you can ignore it and use the default…[Read more]

  • which factors should we check to the ranges which we have selected for the parameters? how can we make sure that which range is proper?

  • I used default processing parameters. but in non linear weighting I used 0.6,0.8,1 accordingly. I select inverse parameter method to remove APS. the chosen network was MST one sensor.
now I am switching to small area mode to check the parameters range

  • yeah, I exited the software. and next when I open it to do something with spare geocoding, the sparse point processing window is empty. what shoule I do?I need to do the sparse point processing again, then export time series or something. Thank you.
