  • right, this works:
    RS2_OK55634_PK527325_DK467628_F23_20140808_163838_RST2_VV_SLC

  • Thank you, however it still doesn’t work:

    First identified directory: /C/Process_SARPROZ/Brno_radarsat/SLC/RS2_OK55634_PK527325_DK467628_F23_20140808_163838_VV_SLC_RST2_SLC

get_dir_slc: no known format recognized in directory /C/Process_SARPROZ/Brno_radarsat/SLC/

  • sorry, the string _RST2 must be included but the directory must also terminate with _SLC
if you rename it e.g. RS2_OK55634_PK527325_DK467628_F23_20140808_163838_VV_RST2_SLC it will work

  • Hi,
same problem here – I tried to solve it by renaming all RS2 directories to contain _RST2 string but it didn’t help:

    First identified directory: /C/Process_SARPROZ/Brno_radarsat/SLC/RS2_OK55634_PK527325_DK467628_F23_20140808_163838_VV_SLC_RST2

  • Hi Eric,
you have a dataset of mixed multiple polarizations (HH single pol and HH/HV multiple pol). As a consequence, the only choice is using HH. Would you have had a choice, the suggestion is never to use cross-polarizations for multitemporal analyses. In the future we may include polarimetric techniques and make use of all channels, but this is…[Read more]

  • Dear All,

I am using the SARProZ generated on 10th April 2015 to process a PalSAR data stack. Then I got following questions:

    1. the data is dual pol HH + HV, for mining site monitoring which pol is more suitable from your experience?

    2. in older version it is always possilbe to specify 0.5 to Azimuth to sample squre pixel, but in this version…[Read more]

  • WINDOWS USERS:
there was a hidden bug in the use of PSFTP.EXE which was preventing from downloading new versions (in windows).
Please find the new pcodes here: http://we.tl/W0qiUVVYm3
And also the new compiled version for windows here: http://we.tl/TtmUbku9ym
Many changes are going on, consider it as a beta version.
In case of new bugs, you can…[Read more]

  • Thanks!
it was indeed a bug. But in the future we’ll remove the fine APS processing in the MISP module, because it’s not really needed.
The updated version (which is in fact coming with many new things -check the updates list!-) is already online.
    cheers

  • Hi,

When I processed APS, there was always error occuring.I uploaded the lasterror file.
There are 48 scenes ASAR images in all.

  • Dear all,

in the last Sarproz release a new module is included: “Manage Version” (button in “DataSet Selection”).
You can use that module to download new releases and also for switching between different sw versions.
This can be particularly useful for fast bug solving and/or beta testing of new features.
A full list of software modifications…[Read more]

  • Based on the Radarsat-2 data we processed up to now,
the software searches for directories containing the string “_RST2”.
I suggest you at this moment to manually rename your directories including such string.
We may change the code later when we will confirm the naming convention.

  • Hi,professor

    How to import radarsat-2 data?

My soure image is TIFF format,it’s in a folder called”RS2_OK60115_PK140099_DK124064_W1_20101122_222717_VV_SLC”,its original name is image_VV.tif,in these folders ,there are other XML format file.
I try to put one TIFF format in SLC folder, the work directory is like this “/home/user/rsat-2/”.It didn’t…[Read more]

    Hi Ivana,

first of all, QPS is a title which we used in a paper. However, as you have seen, Sarproz does not allow straight “PS” or “QPS” approaches. In fact, one can choose among many different options:
    a. Images graph. The Star graph is adopted for PS-like approaches. For other approaches, you can choose the images graph better suiting your…[Read more]

    Hello,

when asking how to make QPS, I got the reply that it is “APS with weights”. I understand it, but when I try to click on weights, I get a message that I cannot use the DEM and weights at the same time. Is it a way to overcome this, to make QPS in mountaineous areas?

    Thank you, Ivana

  • Good we have analyzed and solved all matters.

    1. if in a dataset of 15 images there are 2 or 3 bad images with high shifts, it is useless to process all of them with non-standard parameters: firstly, one has to coregister the dataset with standard parameters, after that one can deal with the faulty images one by one searching for the proper way…[Read more]

  • Hi,

I have problem with Slaves Extraction of ALOS images: “Size inputs must be integers”. Does it mean that image is corrupted? I’ve tried to corregistrate the set of 15 images before (in old version), get succesfully through Slaves Extraction but the corregistration went wrong – corregistrated slaves were shifted directly in the image where…[Read more]

  • periz replied to the topic DEM coregistration in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 4 months ago

At this moment the preliminary geocoding options are:
    – keeping the orbits as they are
    – using an automatic way through an external DEM (which is done just comparing the reflectivity map with the synthetic amplitude)
    – using a manual ground control point

Since the software was initially designed for high-quality high-resolution urban-structural…[Read more]

  • Hello,

is it somehow possible to check the parameters (output) of the DEM coregistration step? Roughly compared with an eye, it is ok (plotting refl. map and synth. amplitude) , however I would like to see the numbers, shifts (for each window) and cross-correlation.

Or, better, is it possible to improve the DEM using an interferogram or more of…[Read more]

  • periz replied to the topic APS estimation in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 4 months ago

The stratification option is used to estimate a correlation between APS and elevation (DEM).
If you work in a mountainous area and if you have coherent point at different altitudes, you can use it and it should help compensating the vertical stratification of the APS.

DSF is the downsampling factor of the final APS. R is the length of the…[Read more]
