Hello Alicia,
I would check the following as a start: the extracted master and slave images. In the attached file you showed me, I can only see the jpeg of master image. Could you also show me a few examples of the slave images? You can find the corresponding jpeg images in the EXT/yyyymmdd folder.
I can see that the master area extracted is…[Read more]

Dear all,
I would like to ask does SARproZ support SAR offset-tracking (or pixel-offset) algorithm for intensity-based or other approach?
Thank you

Dear Daniel,
I am facing problems with javaclasspath while running SPZ that does not allow me to run the software. Any clue will be appreciated. I have tried to edit MCR/toolbox/local/classpath.txt but it didn´t help. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the delay, but I want to make 100% sure what was going on. From what you suggest I could find a shift in my images, they all cover my area of interest, however the select area in sarproz area selection option and the area of the master images are different!
The link above contains: master image in jpg, the log file and an explanation…[Read more] -

Just to note for other’s reference, this problem has been solved.
It appears that one of the SLC folders was corrupted and does not contain the xml file that is required for reading in meta data.
In the next version of sarproz we will add a folder integrity check for Sentinel Tops folder inside the SLC folder for data import purpose.

Are your folder structure identical to what I demo here?

Hello!
I’m trying to process 23 Sentinel-1A images. I’d created folder named ‘S1_DATA’, inside this folder I created ‘SLC’ folder. All of the images I downloaded into ‘SLC’ and unzipped them as I’m working on windows machine.
In ‘Select Dataset’ I chose directory to the parent folder (D:S1_DATA) and the ‘SLC DATA Processing’ window popped up. I…[Read more]

InSAR is by definition relative to a reference point. So, everything is calculated by subtracting the value corresponding to the reference point.
Residual height is the height relative to a reference DEM. Height = external_DEM_height + residual_height.
The deviation of the height estimation depends on many things, as number of images and baselines…[Read more] -

Hi Dr. Perissin
Thanks so much for your response.
I have read your papers entitled as “High-Accuracy Urban DEM Using Permanent Scatterers” and “Validation of the Submetric Accuracy of Vertical Positioning of PSs in C-Band”. A few questions have come to me, I’ll appreciate if you answer.
Does “residual height” calculated only by subtracting the…[Read more] -

You are on the mountains and you are geocoding your data, not orthorectifying it.
You should orthorectify it instead. -
qingli replied to the topic GCP location error in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 1 month ago
Dear dan,
i met nearly the same problem.
I choose a GCP and set it.
i have checked the DEM file via visualization and it seems fine.
the location of GCP is correct in reflectivity map and in google earth.
However, the geocoding reflectivity map is offset far from the right location.
Please have a look with the attached files.
Thanks,
Regards,

the dem was all fine, but the second point helped to load it at a correct position, thank you!
I however noticed that the subset in the “SLC Data Import” wasn’t applied correctly so that confused me a lot 😀 Was probably my fault, I’ll run it again with the correct subset. -
periz replied to the topic GCP location error in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 1 month ago
1. check that you have a DEM correctly loaded. to check it, you can click “dem visualization” in the frame “preliminary geocoding” in “site processing”. if you get a green flat picture, probably it failed downloading SRTM data (you should have got messages about that). In such a case delete the corresponding SRTM files (SRTM directory in the…[Read more]

Dear all, I use 16 Sentinel-1 SLC scenes (same track) for change detection analysis.
I followed the tutorials I and II for data import. Master selection and coregistration worked well but I keep struggling with the GCPs as the scene is always shifted to a large degree (please see screenshot below).Do I miss anything that is not contained in…[Read more]

Hi Cecilia,
yes, on the manual you find some explanation, here in particular http://sarproz.com/manual/geocod.html
what you have written is correct if no correlation with temperature was estimated. If on the contrary you did remove a temperature-correlated trend, then you have to tick on the corresponding box to see it, otherwise it is removed…[Read more] -

Hello,
I got maybe a stupid question but I got suddenly unsure.
So when in Geocoding (Small processing) I click on “Data series” I get the time series of the point but, please correct me:
-if I do not tick anything I get the residues phase, which is the phase minus the topographic and the movement component
-if I tick “mov” I add the movement…[Read more] -

Hello,
It would also be nice to see the jpeg image of the master in your FITTED folder. Could you share that as well? You can upload the jpeg file to wetransfer and paste the link here.
