Yes in my case, if A is + and D is – then the resultant is negative (toward West). Yes I have no doubts about the sign per se, but about the fact that the software and my computation do not agree (on a determined location, software says + and my computation says -). Is this what I cannot figure out. I check the formulas many times and always got…[Read more]

Hi Cecilia,
to find out where is the sign problem, I’d suggest you to find a case where the Asce and Desce velocities have opposite sign.
Where A is + and D is -, the point must move to the W. If the plotted result is positive, it means that the E-W component was assumed positive to the W. If you can confirm it, we will change sign and change the…[Read more] -

Hello,
so I used the software (multi sensor module) to do the combination of ascending and descending to get horizontal and vertical velocities. And, since I was interested to see the horizontal deformation along time, I took the values in the time series and I used the formula found in the paper “Space geodetic monitoring of engineered…[Read more] -

I am sure that the guys in Beijing will be able to check the matter with you.

oh sorry, I have some mistake that is my question.
First I had choosed spatial coherence > 0.7 and I completed a series of preliminary works.
And I choosed 1-Sigma/mu Index ,So I completed a series of PSInSAR works.—————————————————-
First I had choosed 1-Sigma/mu Index > 0.7 and I completed a series of…[Read more]

I worked PSInSAR Process.
First I had choosed spatial coherence > 0.7 and I completed a series of preliminary works.
And I choosed 1-Sigma/mu Index ,So I completed a series of PSInSAR works.
I Wanted to Decrease Values That are displacement. but I getted Increase Values.
My Study area is railway so I think that place should be subsidence. -

The new release presents a new optional module, in between the APS processing module and the MISP one.
The new module is called “Graph Analysis and Refinement” and it can be used for two main tasks.* The first task is the analysis of the (previously processed) APS graph. By applying a threshold on the connections coherence, one can analyze the…[Read more]

Yuxiao replied to the topic Sentinel-1 co-registration image shift in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 2 months ago
Hello,
The coregistration accuracy is independent of footprint shift.
A simple-way-to-think for how-satellite-works is that it scans along a swath. The swath has a fixed “width” (but we call it range) but as you scan along you can have a long “length” (we call it azimuth).
For the purpose of distributing products to the public, one needs to…[Read more]

when getting contents i get this warning:
WARNING: image centers shifted more than 10km!!!!
I attachements you will find the screenshot of the radar footprints. Area of interest is represented by the yellow pin. I´m using 79 Sentinel 1A images acquired from the same orbit number with descending track. 12 of these images are shifted…[Read more]

Hello Jaroslav,
If this error happens again, I have a temporary solution for you.
If you tick “Debug Message”, you will be able to see which date does this error occur exactly. Then you can manually download the orbital files for this date. The instruction could be found…[Read more]

Hello,
The problem has really gone by itself. Thank you for assistance.
If this kind of error happens again, do I just wait a couple of days for this error to be gone?Jaroslav

Hello Jaroslav,
This looks like an orbital file downloading failure to me. I believe that clicking on “Set Orbits” again should have your issue resolved by now. Could you please try that?

Sorry for late response.
The of the file, i have found there: S1B_OPER_AUX_RESORB_OPOD_20171001T085309_V20171001T040012_20171001T071742.EOFJaroslav

Could you please also check ORBITS/S1B/2017/10/aux_resorb ? (S1B)
The log shows there’s something wrong with the orbit file in October. It is better we check it well.
Thanks!

Tenth directory was empty, however I suggest, that you kept in mind ninth one.
There was only one file: S1A_OPER_AUX_RESORB_OPOD_20170925T091232_V20170925T040053_20170925T071823.EOFJaroslav

Hello Jaroslav,
It looks to me that one downloaded orbit is corrupted. Can you help me confirm that?
You can go to ORBITS/S1A/2017/10/aux_resorb and paste the filenames here.
If my inference is true, we will go from there.

Hello!
During setting orbits for stack of Sentinel-1 images I have encountered an error.
I didn’t succeed to guess the reason myself, so I’ve decided to send an error logs.Jaroslav

We encourage you to ask as many questions as possible.
I will wait for Dr. Perissin on this question, but I think it is only a very simple geometry that you could draw yourself.
I append here a 2D (horizontal and vertical) decomposition here:

Now, with only one pass, it is…[Read more]

Hello sorry, again me making questions:
which are the formula used by this software to make the projections in the horizontal and vertical direction?
If it is possible to know of coursecheers

Yuxiao replied to the topic Reference point in the forum Sarproz Forum 7 years, 3 months ago
For each image, go to the folder and look for YOUR_DATA/EXT/yyyymmdd/yyyymmdd.meta.mat .
You can load this mat file, and one field is called doppler. When you read it, it contains all the information you will need for calculating the Doppler centroid: the coefficients, time tag, etc. The Doppler centroid can be then calculated for each image.
