  • Hello Daniele,

I am getting slowly into it.

I understand there are two standard deviations – one evaluated from the coherence, using e.g. Colesanti 2003, and the other one evaluated here (can you recommend a paper where to read more?)

I understand it is a measure by which the variable (velocity, height) could change with no (significant) change…[Read more]

  • ok, as the csv could not be attached, i am putting some lines from the file:

VEL SIGMA VEL KTEMP CUM…[Read more]

  • Hello,

For the first time, I am looking at velocity standard deviations.

With a coherence of 0.88, the velocity standard deviation is 1.4 mm/y, and with a coherence of 0.46, the estimated velocity standard deviation is 1.7 mm/y (velocity 18 mm/y). Is this right, having a set of 33 scenes? I am (hopefully) attaching the CSV.

  • Hello,

I would like to ask how saving result variables in the small area works and what is the right procedure to estimate one variable (ktemp) first and another one (defo) later.

I have saved the small area results using save (computed without linear deformation) before and now only loaded it. the file ktemp.mat is old. So, without any…[Read more]

  • OK, and when I go into the Small area module, load the old data (to have the same points, ref. point etc.), then go through select area and sparse point selection (looks ok) and then into MultiImage InSAR Analysis,

what is the problem here? what should I have done?

    Thanks, I.

  • Thank you, it works if I remove the duplicate items from the file you suggest and also from DATASET_INFO/DataSet.txt

  • Hello,

I would like to ask what are the recommended instruction if one is updating the dataset with new images, using the external data (temperatures) at the same time – either the number of scenes, or the number of temperatures must be changed first, and one then gets errors.

And if I made it bad, how to get out of it, as I always get the same…[Read more]

OK, thank you. I ve just discovered that the residue values in the CSV are also in mm, therefore they go up to plus minus lambda/4.

Ktemp (in the CSV) is in rad/deg or mm/deg? That could be the reason of problems.

I am using star graph. What else can be wrong?

The time series as you can see was generated right now, from saved data, with nothing ticked.

  • ivca-cz replied to the topic residue values in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 6 months ago

I do not understand. I computed it in the small area processing, as in the screenshot.

Nothing is ticked in the “data series” line. Do I understand well, that if I do not tick anything, I get only the residues (if I tick temp, the temperature effect is added etc.), and the same applies to the CSV export?

  • ivca-cz replied to the topic residue values in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 6 months ago

I am sending matlab-parsed histograms of residues for few dates (each date separately). Often, the higher residues correspond to high values of ktemp (I want to know if the possible correlation is real or is caused by unwrapping). Linear deformation trend was not estimated.

Computed approx. a month ago, in an older version (after Ktemp was added…[Read more]

  • Hello,

if I understand it well and no unwrapping is performed (in small area processing), how is it possible that residue values reach up to plus minus 8? Especially for some dates – but generally, there are very few dates for which all residues are smaller than pi. I did not tick anything (model, lin trend etc.) before the export. How were the…[Read more]

    Hello,

regarding the out-of-area crop (the first question), I have the same experience. It seems to me that probably when reading the dataset, no heights are considered, and the crop is then moved to east/west (different for asc/desc). It helps to crop a bigger area or just put shifted geo coordinates. In the next steps (GCP, geocoding etc.), the…[Read more]

  • ivca-cz started the topic QPS with DEM in the forum Sarproz Forum 9 years, 8 months ago

    Hello,

when asking how to make QPS, I got the reply that it is “APS with weights”. I understand it, but when I try to click on weights, I get a message that I cannot use the DEM and weights at the same time. Is it a way to overcome this, to make QPS in mountaineous areas?

    Thank you, Ivana

  • Hello,

is it somehow possible to check the parameters (output) of the DEM coregistration step? Roughly compared with an eye, it is ok (plotting refl. map and synth. amplitude) , however I would like to see the numbers, shifts (for each window) and cross-correlation.

Or, better, is it possible to improve the DEM using an interferogram or more of…[Read more]

    Hello,

I would like to ask what are the other parameters in this line:

    – stratif – should it be used for ionospheric compensation (in case of L-band data)?

    – R and DSF – I understand that it is something like the “smoothness” of the estimated atmosphere; however, why are two parameters and in what units are they?

    Thank you,
    Ivana

  • Hello,

I have problems importing the data at the edge of the scene. From the footprints, it seems that my AOI (approx. 200×200 m) is 6.5 km from the northern border of the scene (I know it is not really precise). Once I managed to deal with the northern border, but the crop was shifted too much to the east (probably due to DEM), so I know that…[Read more]
