–“why are you surprised that the result is within the imposed range?”
Based on the velocity results and “linear trend” threshold setting, I found the velocity result is within the range of “linear trend”. In fact, the threshold of “linear trend” was estimated by person,it’s just a estimated value, so it wasn’t correct, and it didn’t conform to the fact.
–“anyway, never use a-symmetric ranges in the APS processing: you do not know the direction of the connections. In the APS processing, always give symmetric ranges”
I didn’t understand what you mean about symmetric range setting, maybe it’s a clerical error. In the first-time APS ,I choosed “Amp. Stab. Index 1 – Sigma/Mu”, linear trend was “-30,30”.In the second-time APS,I choosed “temporal coherence”,linear trend was “-90,5” ,this value was based on the “Velocity” parameters of reference point in the first-time APS.
Thanks for the help from Pro.Daniele and Dr. yuxiao. The problem has been solved.
Firstly, ensure the DEM is bigger than research area. The research area should be checked carefully. It must be smaller than the user defined DEM, or it will not be processed successfully follow-up.
Secondly, the problem is coordinates transformation. My first-time DEM is in UTM projection, and all parameters could be filled automatically in “DEM source selection”, so it looks OK . But in “DEM visualization” window, no X mark covering research area can be found.
Try to save the DEM in geographic coordinate instead of UTM and import the DEM again in the previous method. Then, the problem was solved. And in “DEM visualization ” window, the research area appears.

I’m sorry I was offline last night.Today I’m available waiting for you. Please contact me when you are online.Thanks.
Hi, Pro. Daniele,
(1) I’d like to know something about APS estimation.I used 32 scenes TerraSAR-X and Tandem-X images in all.The zip file contains the parameters of APS estimation and the results.I found the connection coherence is good, but the result of APS including “PS coherence after graph inversion and APS removal” are bad and the image coherence is low.I’m confused about the differences. This is the first problem.
(2) And,could you please explain the non-linear weigh function
(3) Whether the interferogram processing has influences on the APS estimation?

You must be logged in to view attached files.I don’t understand how to process specifically, but I found Matlab gave me a message”center latitude and longitude from MASTER SLC data differ from center of calculated footprint”. Is this message important for this problem?
I’m sorry for that the two pictures couldn’t be uploaded successfully. These two ones are new.

You must be logged in to view attached files. The first picture is SAR image, the other one is kml format master area. It’s obvious to find that area on the two pictures don’t match.
The version of software is May 6.
I delete the old folders and import the data again.I set the master area again in “longitude” and “latitude” ,but the error was still here. The center of master area was still the center of the scene.By the way, the master area of kml format was right, but the SAR format image was not matched with the kml file.
Thanks for your reply.
I went back and extract the master area again, but I found the SAR image of extracted master area isn’t the area that I want. The centre of wrong area isn’t what I input in “latitude” and “longtitude”, but is the centre of one complete image. And I set the “latitude” and “longitude”, but the “samples” and “lines” doesn’t change.
You mean I should rename the MATLAB system function file “flipdim”?
But I found three flipdim.m files in MATLAB, which one should I choose?
Thank you,professor.
I download a new version instead of the old one and the problem has been solved. But another problem is coming when I clicked “master extraction”…
THis zip file included lasterror.mat and log file

Undefined variable “p_orbit” or class “p_orbit.coef_pos.x”.Hi,professor,
I get two parts of RST-2 images, the one is .rlsc format co-registered by GAMMA with .par file, the other one is raw data, (e.g. RS2_OK60115_PK140099_DK124064_W1_20101122_222717_RST2_VV_SLC). But the two parts of images aren’t during the same period.I hope to put them together to process. Is it OK in principle?
I create a SLC folder and RSLC folder to put these data, but SARPROZ couldn’t recognize the RSLC folder, even though the raw data could be recognized in SLC folder.
Could the process work in another import way?Or it can’t be realized at present?
Thanks for your comments,sir.
OK, Thank you! Professor Daniele.
I’ll try according to the turtorials and exercises.
Best wishes for you!Well, that’s right. I made mistakes. But now I’ve opened the “sub-dataset extraction” module, I found that I could only have a mean amplitude reflectivity map. I want to have a kml file on google-earth to see my study area clearly. What should I do?
