if you start the SLC processing over again,
the Master and all previously generated files are overwritten.
Also, the Master area is set as default: center in the middle of the scene.
So, you have to set the Master area again. By the way, these operations were slightly improved recently: download the last version (or check in the updates history…[Read more]

  • Thanks for your reply.

I went back and extract the master area again, but I found the SAR image of extracted master area isn’t the area that I want. The centre of wrong area isn’t what I input in “latitude” and “longtitude”, but is the centre of one complete image. And I set the “latitude” and “longitude”, but the “samples” and “lines” doesn’t change.

  • first very important comment
why are you using the MST?
I’d suggest you to work with the Star Graph.
In fact, you are analyzing a structure, not distributed targets.
I also suggest you not to use weights.
Try this, and then let me know.
As for the range of parameters is concerned, at the beginning you can ignore it and use the default…[Read more]

  • which factors should we check to the ranges which we have selected for the parameters? how can we make sure that which range is proper?

  • I used default processing parameters. but in non linear weighting I used 0.6,0.8,1 accordingly. I select inverse parameter method to remove APS. the chosen network was MST one sensor.
now I am switching to small area mode to check the parameters range

  • yeah, I exited the software. and next when I open it to do something with spare geocoding, the sparse point processing window is empty. what shoule I do?I need to do the sparse point processing again, then export time series or something. Thank you.

  • Let’s make an example:
you have processed your dataset, and you got the following outputs (after APS and sparse points processing):
    – Integrated Residuals APS
    – height and velocity for each PS
So, you go to sparse point geocoding and the sw opens up the “sparse points processing” window asking you to input the processing options. Then you have…[Read more]

  • the attachment is what I got, it have so many parameters. the value of 5 columns is zero, you can see it in the attachment. you said : when you check it, the sw will open the sparse point processing window and you have to check the processing options you want to apply on your time series. I often experience such a situation, but I don’t konw what…[Read more]

  • can you include a picture of the APS processing module, so we see which options you picked up?
tell us also which images graph you are using for the estimate

  • Hi Shimin

first of all, thanks for the question, I discovered an obsolete piece of code.
DBF is in fact an old option that was supposed to be replaced by simple CSV files.
However, I discovered now that the CSV is produced only if you check the “time series” option.
If you geocode the DBF without checking the “time series” option, a DBF file is…[Read more]

  • here are some files of the process.
after APS removal the coherence of each interferogram became almost zero except 2 of them.
I think I have done something wrong during the process. but I don’t know where is my mistake.

  • here are some files of the process.

  • in the process of sparse geocoding, I selected DBF as the file type. Then I got a .csv file,in which I can see many numbers. But I can’t found the average rate of each year in it. I want to konw where I can find some information about the average rate of each year.Or I have to calculate this number by myself.

  • Hi Farnoosh

Residual Height = Height – External DEM

Removing an external DEM should reduce the unknown height (with “unknown height” I mean the source of the topographic component of the interferometric phase). Removing an external DEM is particularly useful in mountainous areas (the external DEM can decrease significantly the range of the…[Read more]

  • I have another question. what should I do if the coherences are not good after APS removal? what are DSF and R parameters in APS options box?

  • hi,
first of all I should appreciate your great software. It is my pleasure to work with such a software.
I like to know more about height and residual height.
what should we do if the residual height is high in some areas? is anything wrong with the parameters which I have taken or the TDX DEM which I have used? Is it anyway to reduce these…[Read more]

for this very moment I suggest you to apply a conversion with some other sw for manipulating geotiff files
in the future we’ll modify our code

  • As I said, you have 2 options:
    a. get SLC data (not RAW)
    b. focus them with roi-pac (or gamma)

any other way is possible but currently not supported

In the GCP selection module there is a flag: ‘OVW’ which stays for “overwrite”.
If you do not flag it, it will load the previous “mean kml” map.
Since you are not the first one asking about it, I switched it to checked as default…
You’ll get it in the next version, for the moment just check it manually.
