Hello professor
Thanks for your quick response. How can I decomposing them?
I downloaded the last version of the software today and did these steps to to estimate the vertical and E-W components.1- Imported TS objects for AS&DS tracks and loaded them in the multi-sensor module. In this step PASS and Track in upper table are empty!? while PASS…[Read more]

you are plotting them together, you are not decomposing them
please download the last version of the software and use the AD grid

Hello professor
Thanks for your quick response.
That is true.
These values are along LOS. I generated TS objects for AS&DS and then loaded them in the multi-sensor module and combined them to estimate the vertical components.Figure A shows combination of Ascending-Descending TS objects.
And Figure B shows combination of Ascending -De…[Read more]

Those values are not vertical, they are range displacement, which means, along the LOS, inclined w.r.t. the vertical.
Please read well the basic theory of SAR.
if you generate TS objects, you can load them in the multisensor module and combine them to estimate vertical and horizontal components
range movement can have opposite signs in asce/desce…[Read more] -

Hello dear colleagues
one question
The following figures show the deformation evaluation of the 2 salt diapirs in the ascending and descending tracks.
Why are the values inverted in two ascending and descending tracks ?The following figure 2 shows Vertical Velocity Displacement along Ascending and Descending tracks
thanks in advance

At the moment there are no distance learning courses.
We are working to set up a training school in Italy. We should be able to advertise a first course in 2020.
There should be a chance to have a course in Tehran though. We’ll let you know -

Hi
Thank you for your quick response.
How can I attend courses or can I upgrade one at my university?
Are there no distance learning courses? (Webinar?)Best

a full answer to your question would be long. this is what we teach in training courses (taking one would be very good for you. you can try to promote one in your university).
here a short answer:
1. as a default, estimate only height and linear deformation trend. keep the default range values
2. when the processing is done, study well figures and…[Read more] -

Hi dear colleagues
I have a basic question about “parameters range” in “APS Estimation” or”processing parameters“.
In the “Multi-Image InSAR Processing” section, when i selecting “APS Estimation” , on what basis should values be selected in1- Linear trend (On what basis parameters range should be chosen?)
2-Hieght (On what basis par…[Read more] -

You are using the Sparse LS unwrapping algorithm. Probably you are using all available memory.
Please use the Task Manager windows application to see if you used all memory and/or if the Sarproz main application is running or not.
if you have resources issue, multilook your interferograms to save memory

Hello
I got a problem !!
On site processing
In the «InSAR processing»
In the «Interferogram processing»It only goes up to 25% and will not change !!
thanks

In the attachment you see the difference between calculating the cum disp from the data or from the model (the drawing is made by hands, but the concept is that the smart filter results in a smoothing of the data).
We have chosen to calculate the cumulative displacement from the model. It’s a choice, that does not mean it’s the truth.
If you want…[Read more] -

hello prof,
i have almost similar question. i used Smart5 with Small Temporal Baseline image graph on 6 images (which is less than u suggested for its robustness; in message #3231) to detect subsidence
obtained results from 2 weeks baselines are:
weeks: 0 2 4 6 8 12

Def. trend = deformation trend [mm/year] (or velocity or annual rate)
Cum. disp. = cumulative displacement [mm] (it’s the displacement at the end of the time series minus the displacement at the beginning. it’s calculated on the model, neglecting possible residual -not modeled- displacement)The colored dots in your picture show the deformation…[Read more]

Hello colleagues
What’s the difference between the following 5 numbers?
What is the annual rate?
What is the cumulative annual rate?
Which one does the graph represent? -

Hi David,
in that plot you can see the red point indicating the location of the pixel you are observing
the blue line is a line connecting the satellite with the ground point
the black line is the local ground profile taken from the DEM you loaded (SRTM by default).
In principle, this is what is plotted, independently from whether it is true or…[Read more] -
